DT Sketchy Challenges: Karina's Sketch and Be my Valentine-theme

Today we are back with another challenge at The Sketchy Challenges and this time it's Karina who has come up with a gorgeous sketch. The theme for this round is "Be my Valentine" and the rules are easy - use the sketch or use the theme or use both.... :-)

This is my take using both the sketch and the theme....

I have used papers from Maja Design, lace and a lovely Heart Banner Die-Light from Whiff of Joy.

Here is a close up on the gorgeous image by Ching-Chou Kuik called Love. She is colored with Copic Markers.

Some flower decorations...

A close up on the heart banner....

Wishing you all a magical day and hoping to see you join the challenge!

I'm adding my card to these challenges:

DT Whiff of Joy: Henry Gift Box!

So today I'm showing you this gift box I made for Whiff of Joy. It contains two candles and I thought I'd give it away as a Valentine's treat.

I have used an image called Henry behind large heart and he is colored with Copics.

The sentiment is from You are my hero! Sentiment Set

Added some flowers and some ribbon.

I cut out lots of hearts in different sizes to add behind my image instead of using just square paper. Thought it fit the theme quite well... ;-)

Thank you for visiting me today and I wish you all a magical day!

A huge THANK YOU chocolate box feat. Lili of the Valley!

Ok... so this past weekend my friends and I went to a crop in a nearby town (about 1 hour drive). We were supposed to go home in the evening but surprise!! Due to a blizzard we had gotten snowed in!!! We tried to get out on the road for an hour and a half but we got about 50 metres... so we had to go back in and spend the night. While we were out trying to get on to the road a couple of locals came to our resque and helped us get out of the snow. This is a thank you gift that I crafted that night.... not much sleep that night.... however given the fact that we could have gotten stuch in a ditch somewhere this was way much better....

The image is from Lili of the Valley.

Used flowers, snowflake punches (thank you for lending them to me Margareta!)....

More flowers...

Lace... Pearls.... Papers from Maja Design and a border punch from Martha Stewart....

The chocolate box was not huge but it was a huge thank you to the people helping us!!

This is what the front of my house looked like when I finally got home... All this snow came in less than 12 hrs...

Thank you for visiting me today!

I'm adding my box to these challenges:
